@SaudadeDream (jeri) InterView - @Abude.521
I’m excited to talk today with jeri, a frequent collaborator from Florida, whose sound and creative journey continues to resonate with me.

What would be your dream concert/show be, who would you like to see perform dead or alive ?
The concert were I become who ive looked up on when I was once in the audience , I wish I could see crystal castles since they no longer are .
How would you describe your musical taste, what music do you listen to on the regular ?
Mostly music that holds heavy substance , significance , or impact culturally not just environmentally but also within myself and personal life / struggles . Lots of music , varies in different stages , emotions, and thoughts but all consists of the same essence or identity .
What does your production process usually look like from idea to the end of a beat/track ?
An idea pops up and usually the complete structure of the message / sound I want to put down is usually already complete before I start producing , this is why inspiration is so important to me . My work is communication and requires in the moment clicks on how to convey something without speaking . In simple terms , I live thru life and whatever im going thru i journalize just like a auto biography but in musical form , creating it is just putting it down on paper .
What makes a great artist–producer relationship? Is there an artist you’ve worked with who changed how you produce ?
Someone who understands why they like or gravitate to my message / sound nd why they choose to act on it . Also effortless impact and change , somethings u truly cant stop . Mainly intentional artistry whether it’s a producer or vocalist . If you are confident within what yall bring to the table , you good .
Ive have had artists who didnt necessarily change how I produce , but I can say ive been influenced into different bags / mutual emotions which sparked versatility within my own sound .
How do you deal with rejection or failure?

What’s more important to you: technical perfection or emotional impact with music ?
To me emotional impact is my personal technical perfection, perfection isn’t objective although , influence is and both come within my identity and how close I truly get to translating my words to sounds , so one will rebound of the other , certain mixes can objectively be flawed but subjectively attract .
Whats next for you ? Anything you got on the way you could show us ?
PATTERN$ _ alot of them , just look around . and ofc I do but yall will see it soon , luv // tabularasa
